First shown in 1954 at the New York Motor Show, the Mercedes 190 SL Convertible was the model chosen by the German brand to satisfy the demand for a more affordable sports model than the exclusive 300 SL.

Having been produced for 9 years, the Mercedes 190 SL became a true sales success for Mercedes during that period.

This model was initially delivered in Germany and later exported to the USA. Recently imported into Portugal, it has never been restored.
